356. A good sleep
357. Time away at JT
358. You doing things, under the surface, that only You can see (the hope of this)
It is easier to see the problems. It is easier to complain. But that is a horrible way to live. My soul needs to be reshaped, my heart needs to be reformed. I want to become a person who does not need to stop and deliberately think about what I ought to be grateful for, but someone who just is grateful for so much.

Nearly 300
Oooh, it's not so regular anymore. Sometimes huge gaps in my "I will give thanks to the Lord" journal.
I've revisited this theme again though--In April, at a low time, and re-listening to a sermon I first heard in 2006 and have pulled out again several times. Now, on the door too my kitchen there is a sign reminding me to give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. My cell phone reminds me several times to stop and give things.
I'm a bit of a poophead by dispostion I guess. I have to fight to be thankful. I have to learn it.
Today's entries:
295. A good night's sleep
296. Waking up thankful
297. The privilege of knowing people, learning about culture, growing
298. Your presence, here, now
